Montvale, New Jersey-based business leader David Mindich has served as president at Minda Supply Company since 1987, developing sales and marketing strategies to grow the business into one of the largest wholesale laundry and dry cleaning product businesses in the US. He is also the founder of Thermal Paper Direct, which sells register and credit card paper rolls through an online platform. Outside of his business endeavors, David Mindich is a fan of the National Football League's (NFL) New York Jets.
The Jets will have a new starting quarterback next season, as the team traded Sam Darnold to the Carolina Panthers in exchange for three draft picks on April 5. The Jets received the Panthers' sixth-round selection in the 2021 NFL Draft, in addition to second- and fourth-round selections in the 2022 NFL Draft. New York now has 21 picks in the next two drafts, seven of which are in the first two rounds.
Drafted third overall out of the University of Southern California in the 2018 NFL Draft, Darnold struggled to live up to lofty expectations as the potential face of the Jets franchise. He registered 36 touchdowns and 28 interceptions through his first two seasons, and was even worse in 2020, with nine touchdowns and 11 interceptions. The Jets had a win-loss record of 13-25 in games he started at quarterback.
